I'm a year older today and I thought I'd mark the occasion by posting to this new Squarespace 6 site that I've been working on for the past week. For almost a year now, I've been sharing my thoughts and photos at Chasing Creativity which lives at WordPress. While I truly did enjoy the simplicity (and frugality) of WordPress, I always missed having the ability to create real photo galleries without moving to the self-hosted version of WordPress.
Enter Squarespace 6; I actually stumbled upon the preview version of Squarespace while I was looking for an alternative to WordPress that would suit my needs. Well, after many hours of tinkering (which I actually enjoy), I've decided that this new platform is just what I've been looking for (at least for now). Those that know me from my other websites know that I've jumped from WordPress to Squarespace before. So I guess we'll have to wait and see if it sticks this time around.
I haven't decided if I'm going to bring what I've posted over at Chasing Creativity to this new site yet, but I'm leaning towards no at this point. I've always enjoyed the feeling that comes with starting over, so it's only probably a matter of time before I come full circle and wipe the slate clean once again.
